I thought the scares in this film were simple but well executed and effective. Not just cheap jumpscares like a lot of horror movies lately.
A compelling story as well, a lot of horror is all about the scares and the story sucks but the plot felt really fleshed out, like the writer’s only goal wasn’t to make a scary movie, but to make a good movie that is scary.
Definitely one of my favourites for 2026 so far!
