I’m Joshua and this is my website.

I am a 25 year old from Toronto, Canada. I’m a geek. I love movies, TV, Dungeons & Dragons and pretty much anything computer-related. My favourite food changes depending on when you ask me, but my mom’s chicken casserole is always on the list.

I enjoy tinkering and fiddling, that’s how I taught myself Adobe Illustrator, a fact I’m quite proud of, but my crippling ADHD makes it difficult to learn new things. I know that’s like a default statement for people in my age group, but it really is bad. They legally cannot medicate me any more than I am already - I can’t be prescribed a higher dose 😂 (idk why I’m sharing this, btw…)

I used to say I was bilingual, having been in French Immersion throughout primary and secondary school & graduating with a ‘French Immersion Seal’ on my diploma. I don’t say this anymore. Now I feel I sound like a toddler when attempting to speak French.

Making this website

I made this website for fun, and to use my domain for something. It’s made using Hugo & a theme called Papermod by Aditya Telange. I was introduced to both of these by Pascal Michaillat, who I don’t know personally, but when I was googling a free template for a GitHub pages website, his repo hugo-website came up as a result. Credit to all 3 of these, and thank you!
